Instagram Reels, saved as MP4
SaveVideo saves public Instagram Reels as MP4 files, up to 2160p (4K) when Instagram has the Reel in that quality. Paste the Reel’s link, choose a row, and the file saves with its sound. There’s no app to install and no Instagram login.
Every Reel comes in more than one size
Instagram keeps several copies of each Reel, and the list shows them best first with their file sizes. A 4K copy can take twice the space of the 1440p one, so check the size beside each row before you pick. On a phone with little space left, the smaller file is the easy choice.
The sound comes along
A saved Reel keeps its audio in the same MP4, so it plays back with its sound on any phone or computer. If the music is what you’re after, switch to Audio only and save it as an MP3 instead.
No logo over the picture
The Reel saves without an Instagram logo or username across it, which matters when you keep a copy of your own Reels or cut one into a new edit. Text, stickers and captions the creator added stay, because they’re part of the video.
Feed videos work too
A video posted to the feed (instagram.com/p/…) goes in the same box as a Reel. The Instagram video downloader page explains those.
