FAQ

Questions about downloading from Xiaohongshu

Do I need a Xiaohongshu account?

No. The Xiaohongshu video downloader reads a post the way a visitor who isn’t logged in would, so you don’t sign in to anything. Posts that Xiaohongshu shows only to logged-in users can’t be saved here.

Why won’t my Xiaohongshu link load?

Open the link yourself first and check the video plays without signing in. Then check you copied the whole link. If it plays for you and still fails here, send us the link through the contact page so we can look at it.
