What the Threads video downloader does

SaveVideo’s Threads video downloader is for videos in public Threads posts. Threads downloads don’t work on SaveVideo at the moment: a pasted link can’t be prepared yet, and we’re working on it. You don’t log in to Threads or Instagram.

Public posts only

SaveVideo sees Threads the way a visitor who isn’t logged in does. Posts from private profiles can’t be saved.

What you can save

The Threads video downloader lists what SaveVideo finds for each post, and only that. When there’s more than one quality, the highest is at the top.

Questions about downloading from Threads

Do I need a Threads or Instagram account?

No. The Threads video downloader reads a post the way a visitor who isn’t logged in would, so you don’t sign in to anything. Posts from private profiles can’t be saved here.

Why won’t my Threads link load?

Because Threads downloads don’t work on SaveVideo at the moment, whatever the link. We’re working on it. If you need one video, send us its link from the contact page.
