About this downloader

Video pins, up to 4K

SaveVideo is a Pinterest video downloader that saves video pins as MP4 files. Paste the pin’s address and pick a quality. The pin we tested on 5 October 2026 offered every quality from 480p up to 2160p, which is 4K.

Up to 4K, when the pin has it

The list shows the qualities Pinterest has for that pin, highest first. A pin uploaded in 4K shows 2160p at the top. If 2160p isn’t there, the pin wasn’t uploaded in it.

Pick by quality, not by size

For some pins, the size next to a quality is far off: a full video can show as a few kilobytes. Choose the quality you want and ignore the size.

FAQ

Questions about downloading from Pinterest

Can I save a Pinterest video as MP3?

Pins come with video qualities only, so the Pinterest video downloader can’t save them as MP3, and an MP3 request fails. Save the video as MP4 instead. Every pin we have tried since September 2026 has been the same, so this is not one broken pin.

Do I need a Pinterest account?

No. SaveVideo never logs in to Pinterest, so you don’t sign in to anything and need no Pinterest account. The Pinterest video downloader saves public pins, the ones anyone can open without signing in. It can’t save pins that need an account to open, such as those on secret boards.

Why is 4K missing for this pin?

Because the pin wasn’t uploaded in 4K. The Pinterest video downloader lists the qualities Pinterest has for each pin, so the top of the list is the best that pin offers. A pin uploaded in 1080p goes up to 1080p, and one uploaded in 720p goes up to 720p.
