What is SaveVideo?
SaveVideo is a free online video downloader. It saves videos from YouTube, Facebook, X (Twitter), Reddit, Twitch, Bilibili, Dailymotion and other sites straight to your phone, tablet or computer, in up to 4K where the site offers it.
Paste a link, choose a quality, and the file downloads to your device. There's no sign-up and no software to install.
Download YouTube videos in 1080p or 720p
Our YouTube video downloader lists the qualities YouTube has for the video, up to 1080p Full HD, with 720p HD and smaller sizes for when storage is tight. Videos under 10 minutes can be saved in any of them; videos of 10 minutes or more in 360p or lower. For 4K, the free Chrome helper saves it from the YouTube page.
It works with regular videos, YouTube Shorts and playlists: paste a playlist's link and SaveVideo lists its videos, so you can download them one at a time. The YouTube playlist downloader explains how.
Facebook, X, Reddit and more
Save Facebook videos and Reels, videos from posts on X, Reddit videos with their share links, Twitch clips and VODs, and Bilibili uploads. Each works the same way: paste the link and choose a size.
No app or software needed
SaveVideo runs in your browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPhone and iPad. If you download often, the free Chrome helper adds a download bar under every YouTube video, and the Android app lets you send a video link to SaveVideo from the Share menu.

Screen recording re-encodes the picture, drops frames and captures notifications on top of your video. SaveVideo saves the video file itself, at the quality you pick.
